Overview

Tent peak or locally known as Tharpu Chuli (5663mtr / 18580ft) is a very attractive peak situated near Annapurna base camp. A half day’s trek further from the Annapurna base camp brings to Tent Peak base camp. Climbing tent peak is an easy to mild level ice climbing activity. Like many other peaks this one also can be done in a day from base camp to the summit and back to base camp. The summit offers excellent view of giant Annapurna I, Mt. Fishtail and other peaks around. Tent peak is superb for those who are interested for beautiful trek combined with an easy to medium level climbing experience in the Himalaya.
