Everest Base Camp North, Tibet covers  most of the important tourist areas of Tibet Lhasa, Sigatse, Gyantse, and Mt. Everest base camp northern side.  Kathmandu to Lhasa flight offers incredible views of the Himalaya including Mt. Everest. In the other hand drive between two cities of Kathmandu and Lhasa is considered as one of the best overland trips in the world. This road connects the holy places of Lhasa including Potala Palace and Tashilhunpo Monastery of Sigatse and base of the world’s highest mountain peak at Everest base camp.  Trip starts in Kathmandu and ends in Kathmandu as well, with flight in and drive out.

01-02-03-04    Kathmandu, Arrival, Optional Sightseeing trips, Visa Procedure

05      Kathmandu – Lhasa (Gongar fly) drive to city, settle in hotel

06-07   Lhasa excursion including Potala Palace, Sera and Drepung     monastery, Jokhang Temple.

08        Lhasa – Gyantse via Yamdruk Tso

09        Gyantse – Sigatse: Visit Tashilhumpo

10        Sigatse to Xegar

11      Xegar to Rongbuk, Visit Rongbuk Monastery, Everest base camp

12        Rongbuk to Tingri

13        Tingri to Nepal border Kyirong

14        Arrive in Kathmandu

15           Return home or plan more !

This trip can be done ending at Lhasa on Day 14 by flying back to Kathmandu or flying to mainland China and back home.
