Saribung Pass trekking is one of the most challenging treks in the Himalaya.   The Saribung Pass at the height of 5900 meters connects two very exhilarating, but less traveled, areas of Nepal Himalaya – Upper Mustang and Naar Phu Valley. Upper Mustang, once an independent kingdom fully guided by the spiritual system of Tibetan Buddhism, is still considered one of the most important centers for observing native Tibetan or Himalayan culture and life. Naar Phu Valley on the other hand is an even more primitive Buddhist area open to tourists only in recent times.

Saribung Pass is situated on the base of Mt. Saribung at 6238 meters which connects these two areas. It is a breathtaking experience as you trek for at least 10 days without sighting any permanent settlement. The trek heads into the wilderness of a high-altitude desert, glaciated lakes, age-old glaciers, and bases of mountains in the Bhrikuti Himalaya range.

This trek is only for experienced adventurers. The Saribung pass trek can be extended to climbing Mt. Saribung 6328 meters which is an easy to mild level climb. Three Jewels team has successfully completed this trek two times before covid years. We ensure you safe and successful trip in one of the extreme trekking routes in the Himalaya.  Please, contact us for further details.
