Overview

Pisang Peak (6091 mtr/ 19978ft) offers great chance for exploration in Annapurna Circuit trek and a nice ice-climbing. Pisang peak stands right above Pisang village, one of the old Tibetan style villages of Manang valley in Annapurna circuit trek. The western flank of the mountain is guarded by a hanging glacier and offers considerable level of challenge to the climbers. However, there is an easier trail to summit from same face. German Expedition made the first ascent of Pisang Peak in 1955. Since then this attractive peak has welcomed considerable number of climbers from all over the world.
