Formerly known as Ganja La Chuli, Naya Kanga (5884mtr / 19300ft) is also know as Nhe Khang meaning milky peak in local dialect. Naya Kanga to the west of Ganja La pass, in beautiful Langtang valley is a popular peak for climbing. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy north–east ridge. It is not yet clear who climbed this summit first. The impressive thing about climbing this peak is the reward of excellent views including Shisapangma (8013mtr) in Tibet and a wonderful trek to Langtang valley.
