In the journey combined Mt. Kaialsh – Lhasa connects Tibet’s two top most destinations: Lhasa the captivating capital and holy emblem of different religions and faith the Mt. Kailash and surrounding area.  This trip, commences in Kathmandu and enters to border of Nepal – Tibet at Kyirong and heads west making parallel sojourn with Himalayan range to reach Mt. Kailash and Mansarowar.  From there the trip returns to central Tibet culminating at its capital Lhasa before flying out to Kathmandu or towards China’s other cities.

 

Brief Itinerary for Mt. Kailash – Lhasa Overland and Trekking

01-04   Kathmandu, Arrival, Optional Sightseeing trips, Visa Procedure

05        Kathmandu – Gongar fly and drive to Tsedang, settle in at hotel

06        Tsedang tour including Yambu Lhakhang

07        Drive to Samye, Retrun to Tsedang

08        Drive to Lhasa with a visit to Mindroling

09-10   Lhasa excursion including Potala Palace, Sera and Drepung monastery,                  Jokhang Temple.

11      Lhasa – Gyantse via Yamdruk Tso

12        Gyantse – Sigatse: Visit Tashilhumpo

13        Sigatse to Xegar

14        Xegar to Saga

15        Saga to Paryang

16        Paryang to Mansarowar

17       Mansarowar Rest

18        Mansarowar to Darchen / Afternoon hike towards Mt. Kailash

19        Start circumambulation trek of Mt. Kailash camp at Dieraphuk

20       Continue trek, cross Dolmala and arrive at Juthulphuk

21        End the trek and drive to Paryang

22        Drive to Kyirong Near Nepal Border

23        Drive to Kathmandu

24       Kathmandu

25           Return Home
