Overview

In the journey combined Mt. Kaialsh – Lhasa connects Tibet’s two top most destinations: Lhasa the captivating capital and holy emblem of different religions and faith the Mt. Kailash and surrounding area. This trip, commences in Kathmandu and enters to border of Nepal – Tibet at Kyirong and heads west making parallel sojourn with Himalayan range to reach Mt. Kailash and Mansarowar. From there the trip returns to central Tibet culminating at its capital Lhasa before flying out to Kathmandu or towards China’s other cities.

Day 07: Drive to Samye, Retrun to Tsedang 6 hours
Day 08: Drive to Lhasa with a visit to Mindroling 6 hours
Day 09-10: Lhasa excursion including Potala Palace, Sera and Drepung monastery, Jokhang Temple. 6 hours
Day 11: Lhasa – Gyantse via Yamdruk Tso 6 hours
Day 12: Gyantse – Sigatse: Visit Tashilhumpo 6 hours
Day 13: Sigatse to Xegar 6 hours
Day 14: Xegar to Saga 6 hours
Day 15: Saga to Paryang 6 hours 4740 meters
Day 16: Paryang to Mansarowar 6 hours
Day 17:  Mansarowar Rest 6 hours
Day 18: Mansarowar to Darchen / Afternoon hike towards Mt. Kailash
Day 19: Start circumambulation trek of Mt. Kailash camp at Dieraphuk 6 hours
Day 20: Continue trek, cross Dolmala and arrive at Juthulphuk 6 hours
Day 21: End the trek and drive to Paryang
Day 22: Drive to Kyirong Near Nepal Border 6 hours
Day 23: Drive to Kathmandu 6 hours
Day 24: Kathmandu
Day 25: Return home or plan more !

The Cost Includes

  • Pick-up or Drop-off service from and to Airport(in our own vehicle)
  • Transportation to and from!!
  • Food all along the trip(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and a cup of coffee or tea) and accommodations during the trip in hotels with family environment
  • Transportation, food, accommodation and insurance of Guide during the trip
  • Down jacket, all-season sleeping bag, duffel bag and trekking map(in case if you don’t have your own. Down jacket, sleeping bag and duffel bag must be returned after completion of the trip)
  • First Aid Medical Kit(Your guide will carry the Medical Kit but we also advise to bring yourself for your own use, as far as possible)
  • All the required permits and paperwork
