Overview

We are pleased to offer this exhilarating climbing trip to Larkya (Larke) Peak (6249mtr). Larkya pass named after the Larkya peak itself is one of the exciting trekking destinations in the Himalaya that connects well known Annapurna circuit area in the west to Manaslu in the east. Larkya Peak is one of the least climbed peaks of the category known as ‘Trekking Peaks’. In fact, there are two peaks named Larkya – one is Thulo Larkya (Main) and next is Sano Larkya (second Larkya). If one likes more challenging climbing involved higher level ice, glacier climb then can undertake the climb to Thulo Larkya otherwise the Sano Larkya offer medium level fun ice climbing. Sano Larkya can be done within a day from base camp whereas Thulo Larkya requires one middle camp beyond base camp (total two climbing days). Total length of the trip is of under three weeks; starting / ending in Kathmandu. This trip will be led by one of our experienced climbing and trekking guides who hail from local village in Manalsu region and who knows routes and options of both the trek and peaks. Itinerary provided here is consciously designed as per the acclimatization practice to cope the side effect of High Altitude (AMS), and it’s reasonably priced with quality service ensured.
