Larkya (Larke) Peak Climbing Manaslu
Manalsu area situated in the middle of Ganesh Himal Range in the east and Annapurna in the west offers all features of a great adventure: enchanting culture, and great mountains including Mt Manaslu (8163 meters) the 8th highest mountain in the world; and some of the greatest walks in the Himalayan mountains including fascinating Larkya Pass (5135mtr) and exhilarating climbing Larkya Peak 6249 meters.
Larkya Peak is one of the least climbed peaks in the category known as Trekking Peaks. In fact, there are two peaks named Larkya one is Larkya Main (Thulo Larkya) and the next is Larkya Small (Sano Larkya), or the second Larkya. If one likes more challenging climbing involving higher-level ice, and glacier climbs then one can undertake the climb to Thulo Larkya which involves setting up of higher camp above Larkya Pass. Otherwise, the Small Larkya offers medium-level fun ice climbing which can be done in a day from Larkya Pass (base camp) itself. The total length of the trip is of under three weeks starting and ending in Kathmandu. This trip with us, Three Jewels Adventures, will be led by one of our experienced climbing and trekking guides who hails from the local village in the Manaslu region. He knows each and every route of The Larkya Peak climbing and Manaslu Circuit Trekking. The climbing and trekking itinerary provided here is consciously designed as per the acclimatization practice to cope with the side effect of High Altitude (AMS), and it’s reasonably priced with quality service ensured.
