Overview
Join Himlung Himal Climbing Trip 2026 Autumn with experienced guides who have taken clients to this stunning summit in recent years. Mt. Himlung Himal 7126 meters is situated near Tibet border in the Manang district, Annapurna Himalaya Range. The approach route is partly by jeep in the old Annapurna circuit trekking trail and then proceeds via the amazing yet less explored trekking area of Nar and Phu Valley. Mt. Himlung is considered one of the less technically demanding 7000-meter range peaks. Â It is a good choice for mountaineers of all levels for a 7000 meter peak climbing experience. It will also be a good test attempt for those who are looking for higher peak climbing like Mt. Everest or other 8000 meter peaks in the future.
Autumn, early October to the second week of November, and Spring, April to the middle of June, are considered as a good time to plan a climbing  expedition to this prominent peak. You can read some more details about Mt. Himlung Climbing on our blog page as well. You are certainly welcome to join our small and efficient team equipped with great staff and professional logistical support for all necessities.
We have two confirmed participants for Himlung Himal Climbing 2026 Autumn from Oct 03 (Arrival in Kathmandu) to November 08! With us, you can take fully covered expedition trip or can arrive (no later than 11th October) at base camp and undertake the base camp to summit and back service only.Â
Himlung Himal Trip Highlights
- Budget-Friendly Expedition: Several expedition teams climb Himlung each season. The cost of route opening and rope fixing is shared among the teams, making this 7000-meter expedition more affordable than many other Himalayan climbs.
- Safer Expedition with a High Success Rate: Himlung Himal is considered one of the less technical and safer 7000-meter peaks in the Himalayas. It is often chosen by climbers as preparation for bigger challenges such as Everest and other 8000-meter mountains.
- Beautiful Nar Phu Valley Trek: The approach follows the remote Nar Phu Valley, a restricted area that was opened to foreign visitors much later than Nepal's popular trekking regions. The valley offers a unique opportunity to experience traditional mountain culture, ancient villages, and spectacular landscapes.
- Outstanding Panoramic Views: From the summit and throughout the climb, expedition participants enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the remote valleys and part of Tibetan Plateau. The journey offers countless opportunities for unforgettable mountain photography.
- A True Himalayan Adventure: Trekking a remote cultural trail, a straightforward 7000-meter climb, and stunning scenery! Himlung Himal is an excellent choice for climbers seeking their first major Himalayan expedition.
