Overview
Namche Bazaar Tengboche trek is the best short trek in the enchanting area of the Mt. Everest. This 10 day trip (7 days’ trek) follows the excellent trekking trail of the Everest trekking region leading through large Sherpa villages like Mondzo at the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the top of the world, and Khumjung, the largest village of the region. These villages are both wonderful view points from which to see the sky soaring Himalayan peaks and spiritual centers where you can observe the Buddhism-guided life and culture of local Sherpa people. The famous Tengboche Monastery, situated at 3860m, is the final destination of this trek. Tengboche is the largest and most important Monastery in the area and an excellent viewing point for Mt. Everest (8850m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m), Mt. Thamserku (6623m), Mt. Kang Tega (6779m), Mt. Khumbi Yullha (5716m) and other peaks. From Tengboche trek returns to Lukla for flight out to Kathmandu.
