In Annapurna Panorama’s extended itinerary, you can trek up to Mulde Peak at 3637m where you can have a closer view of Annapurna Mountains, Mt Dhaulagiri and Mt. Fishtail. From Tadapani Village our standard Annapurna Panorama trek trail heads North into the Yak herd’s forest, ultimately leading to an alpine grazing area for animals during the summer. As the trek recently opened and has limited lodges available, few tourists visit the area. In extending the Annapurna Panorama trek itinerary by just one or two days, you have the opportunity to see this un spoilt area of the Annapurna region where, along with enjoying incredible views, you share the mountains with yak herd and wild animals. Following a visit to Mulde Peak, your trek will have you join the regular trek at Deurali. There is also the option to extend this trek by an additional two days; this has you visiting Khayar Lake. We recommend this extended version as it is off the tourist trail, relatively easy and, most importantly, only 5 or 6 days (from start to finish in Pokhara).
